He was born October 4, 1920, in Oxford, NC, and was the son of the late George Thomas and Alice Rebecca Fitts Inscoe. He retired from Bernhardt Furniture Company after 22 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sons, Willie Inscoe, Jr., William Inscoe, Danny Inscoe, and Roy Lee Inscoe and ten brothers and sisters.
He is survived by three daughters, Shirley Orrell of Stony Point, Darlene Estes and Linda Goodin both of Olin; a son, Michael Inscoe of Harmony; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
