Wilma Dean White Givens

She was born May 29, 1935, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late John and Grace Speaks White. She was a retired textile worker from Tape Weavers, was a member of Redemption Baptist Church, and participated in the senior adult program at Troutman Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Givens, Jr. and a granddaughter, Crystal Christine Bullin.

She is survived by a daughter, Cecelia Wehrle of Statesville; a son, Timothy Givens of Hickory; a grandson, Matthew Bullin; and two great-grandchildren, Braiden and Shalynn Bullin all of Statesville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Redemption Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Kerrigan, the Rev. Joe Dellinger, and Capt. Phillip Priest officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home which is serving the Givens family.
