

Born in Iredell County on December 5, 1931, she was the daughter of Washington Roosevelt Tilley and Elva Jordan Tilley.
She was educated in the Iredell County Schools and Mitchell Community College, and worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s business.
Mrs. Olive was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church.
Wilma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family beyond measure.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, James Alvin Olive; daughters, Teresa Jones (Mark) of Clayton, NC and Mechelle Siudy (Mark) of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; two brothers, Ray Tilley and Ken Tilley (Linda); and two sisters, Cloe Shaver and Karen Morrison (Levi).
A memorial service celebrating Wilma’s life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Woodall officiating. The receiving of friends will follow the service.
