Wolfgang "Herb" Herbert Brodauf

Born in Dresden, Germany on November 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Herbert Brodauf and Else Ullrich Brodauf.

In 1953, Herb moved from Germany to the United States, and served in the United States Army from 1955 – 1963s.

After leaving active service, on April 12, 1958, he married his wife of 58 ½ years, Antoinette Josephine Amoruso Brodauf.

Herb was an Electrical Contractor, owning his own business, in Putnam County, New York until he retired in 1995 and moved to Statesville, NC.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his loving wife, are two sons and daughters-in-law, William Herbert Brodauf and wife Susan and Robert Alan Brodauf and wife Debra. He is further survived by four grandchildren, Lena Ann Brodauf, Lauren Holly Brodauf, William Herbert Brodauf, Jr. and Rachel Anne Brodauf.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.

The service celebrating Herb’s life will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
