Danny Roy Back

Danny was born January 30, 1960 in Spokane, WA where he was adopted by his loving parents, James Roy Back and Agnes Grace Barker.

He was a Buffalo Gap High School graduate and attended Valley Vocational Technical Center where he was certified in brick masonry. He was also a talented musician, many knowing him for his “guitar picking skills.”

Danny enjoyed nature and loved his Native American culture. He was a member of the White Earth Tribe.

He is survived by three daughters, Brenda L. Berkheiser and husband, Nathan Berkheiser; their two children, Trent and Veronica; Karen M. Wood and husband, Kevin Wood; their three children, Kaira, Keaton, and Karson; Mara E. G. Back and fiancé Tristan Rion, their two children, Sydney and Zoey; two sisters, Kathy Back Poirier, Sandra Back, and one brother, Terry Back; and also special friend and fiancée, Mary Jane Tedford.

A celebration of Danny's life will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Heaven's Golden Gates Church, 810 Grubert Avenue, Staunton, VA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
