Edward Francis Lewis, 74 years young, of Churchville, VA passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1948, a son of the late Linwood and Elizabeth Shifflett Lewis.
Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired as a cook and attended Fountain of Life Church of God and Prophecy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward F. Lewis, Jr.; brothers, Leonard Lewis, Irvin Lewis, Dan Lewis, Elmer Lewis, John Lewis, and Floyd Lewis; and a sister, Bell Halterman.
Survivors include two sons, Edward A. Lewis and Talbert Jay Lewis (Marina); five daughters, Victoria Gail Lewis Peters, Rebecca Ann Marshall, Lori Ann Lewis, and Elizabeth Sarah Stanley; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
