

Born August 11, 1951 in Florida, he was a son of the late Ira Allen and Mabel Edna (Shaffer) Bolyard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony “Tony” Bolyard.
Leonard owned and operated Leonard’s Service Center, Fishersville, VA, where he served the communities’ automotive needs for over 10 years. As a mechanic, he greatly enjoyed working on and riding Harley motorcycles. Leonard was a licensed curios and relics dealer, car, and U-Haul dealer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served his country honorably during the Vietnam War from 1971-1973.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Charlotte “Maxine” Bolyard of Staunton; children, Leonard Allen Bolyard, Jr. and wife, Buffy Bailey, of Valdosta, GA, Vickey Bolyard of Metter, GA, David Bolyard of Metter, GA, Ira Bolyard of Claxton, GA, and Jason Bolyard of Metter, GA; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Lance, Michael, Elijah, Jason, Jr., Kaylee, Katelyn, and Emmie Bolyard; great-grandson, Liam Couch; brother, James L. Greene and wife, Carol, of Charlottesville; sister, Susan Young of Macon, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, all services will be private.
