Rose Anne Masterson Fitzpatrick

She was born November 29, 1923 in New York City, a daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget Ballasty Masterson.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Fitzpatrick, and a brother, Peter Masterson.

Survivors include two sons; James J. Fitzpatrick and wife Nancy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Stephen J. Fitzpatrick and wife Lisa of Florham Park, New Jersey, a daughter, Patricia Anderson and husband Duane of Staunton, a brother, Hugh F. Masterson and wife Jean of Myrtle Beach, SC, seven grandchildren; Dana Tanaka, Erin Thompson, Kelly Fitzpatrick, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Sean Fitzpatrick, Jacqueline Fitzpatrick, Ryan Fitzpatrick, four great grandchildren; Nicholas, Andrew, William and Michael Tanaka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM Thursday, March 1, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi by Father Joseph Wamala. Burial will follow at 10:00 AM Friday, March 2, 2012 in Quantico National Cemetery.

There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 18 W. Frederick St., Staunton, Va.
