

In loving memory of Jeremiah Skinner, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world on June 26, 2026. Born on February 13, 2012, in Sterling, Virginia, Jeremiah was a bright light who brought joy and laughter to everyone he encountered.
Jeremiah's life, although brief, was filled with love, laughter. He was a student at Seneca Ridge Middle School, where he not only excelled academically but also formed lifelong friendships. Jeremiah's love for gaming was infectious; he spent countless hours enjoying Fortnite and Roblox, often creating his own games that reflected his creative spirit and imagination. His passion for gaming was matched only by his love for spending time with friends, making memories, and sharing simple moments that meant the world to him.
Jeremiah was a beacon of kindness and joy. His smile could light up any room, and his laughter was contagious. He had a fun-loving spirit and a genuine nature that drew people to him, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves behind his beloved parents, Latasha Bridgett (Richard Springs-Stepfather) and Kevin Skinner; His grandparents, Leslie Bridgett, Bruce Yates, Christine Skinner Victorin and Ronnie Skinner. Jeremiah will be deeply missed by his siblings: sister Taniyah Bridgett, Jordan Bridgett and Jayla Skinner. Brothers-Michael "Trey" Oldaker-Baker, Justin Skinner and Kevin Skinner Jr.; niece- Skylar Skinner-Oldaker; aunts-Lakeshia Bridgett, Felicia Bridgett, Tanya Skinner and Nyree Reynolds; great-aunt Denise "Ducky" Thornley; uncles Rodney "Rome" Scott, Damien Davenport; and great-uncles Benjamin Thornley and Terry Bridgett.
Jeremiah's legacy of kindness, creativity, and joy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His spirit will continue to inspire us to cherish every moment and to always find joy in the simple things.
Rest in peace, Jeremiah. You will forever be in our hearts.
A viewing will be held at Demaine Life Celebration Center, 4551 E Severn Way, Sterling, VA 20166, on July 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life.
