

Keith was born June 25,1954 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, Ohio; he was the son of Leonard A and June (Wood) Keller. He was a Manassas resident since 1985.
He was a graduate of Avon High School in Ohio and furthered his education at Lorain Community College and Ohio State University earning his B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering. He had decades of construction experience as a Senior MEP (Mechanical Electrical Project) Manager on projects with Clark Construction, Nova Corporation, Lee Technologies, TRW, and Gilbane Building Company in the US and in Saudi Arabia. Among the construction projects were hospitals, prisons, Ballston Commons, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense Replacement Facility, U.S. FDA Consolidated Center for Biologics Evaluation & Research (CBER) Labs, NGA Campus East; The George Washington University – Science and Engineering Hall, the National Museum of African-American History and Culture and the Saudi Arabia National Guard Defense Ministry Headquarter in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Keith is survived by, his loving wife of over 53 years Lonelle (Hanke) Keller, his daughter Ashley (Keller) Lidwell, his son Brent Keller, his son-in-law Ryan Lidwell and grandson Reed Lidwell; his brothers Darryl, Craig, Sam, David and Adam; his sisters-in-law Gaye (Hanke) Crawford and Sherrel (Hanke) Shoffstall.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his mother and father-in-law, numerous aunts and uncles and his brothers Eugene and Steven.
He left a legacy of wicked humor, patience and integrity; he had a close relationship with the Lord who held him close in his final days. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need; whether helping a neighbor with their pool, dishwasher, sink facets, toilet, starting someone’s car, and even troublesome snakes in the spring. While working in the Middle East, he and his wife travelled throughout Europe and Nairobi, Africa. His favorite past time was taking his dog (Abbey) for walks in Signal Hill Park in Manassas Park.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Cremation Society of Virginia. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Demaine Life Celebration Center of Loudoun County, 45511 E Severn Way, Sterling, Virginia 20166.
