Alicia Avalos, loving wife of late Salvador Avalos, passed away on May 13, 2021 at the age of 87 peacefully at her home. Alicia was born in La Palma, Michoacan, Mexico. She dedicated her entire life to raise, care, and love her ten children who were always her pride and joy; Salvador Avalos, Sigifredo (Leivy) Avalos, Celina (Roberto) Pulido, Blanca (Jorge) Flores, Maricela (John) Hartline, Alberto (Maria) Avalos, Cecilia (Sergio) Carlos, Francisco Avalos, Juan Carlos (Ruth Yolanda) Avalos and Cesar (Silvia) Avalos. She was a beloved grandmother to 43, great-grandmother to 64, and great great-grandmother to 9. She was a beloved sister of 6 surviving siblings, and aunt to very many. She was a true blessing to everyone's lives and an extraordinary hard working, beautiful, loving, honest, and righteous Woman of God that has left us with many unforgettable memories that are engraved in our hearts forever.
A visitation with be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, (4101 S Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402.) A prayer service will take place at 6:30 pm.
Funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 18, 2021 beginning at 10 am. Graveside service at Mount Auburn Cemetery to follow.
