I had the pleasure of working with Ann at Loyola for many years. Whether I needed to know how to save a document as a PDF, set up a new phone line or complain about a substandard birthday cake I bought my daughter over the weekend - Ann never turned me away. She was a good listener as well as advisor.

I am reflecting on all my memories with my Aunt Nancy(from my youth to now) and there are so many to recall. What I take away from my time with my her is that she was always kind to me, reliable, witty and so, so intelligent. I will cherish the crafting sessions, family garage sales, and ladies night get-togethers(though these were too few). She was definitely a powerful female influence on me growing up. She encouraged me to do better. I remember she always asked me how I was doing in school. She truly cared and that really mattered to me. I am so thankful to have had her in my life and I will miss her smile and laughter!

Ann was a great person. She singlehandedly helped me finish grad school and get my lectures completed. Her expertise at typing, PowerPoint, APA formatting, etc etc helped many people at Loyola. But more so I enjoyed talking with her about her crafting, her cooking, the outings with her sisters. She was proud of her children. She loved her home she worked hard to build. I have fond memories of sitting at her table and eating peroggis. She will be missed. I pray her family has the peace that passes all human understanding.

I have not stopped thinking about Ann for awhile now. She is a great person and a fabulous friend. We shared so much over the years I've known her and its hard to remember all the times we laughed and cried together. I remember she always said we would grow old together and be in the same old folks home to continue being friends. I cannot believe I will not talk to her again here and have to wait to meet up in heaven. I will hope to remember all the good times and lunches and the times we shared doing crafts. I'm sorry to the family for this loss of a wonderful mother, friend, sister, and for everyone else on the loss of this great woman. prayers and love to all.
