David Vasquez, son of Rosa and Jesus Vasquez, passed away on July 25, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his son, Cesar (Amanda); his daughter, Alyssa (Angel); and his granddaughter, Lyanna. He is also survived by his brothers, Rene and Vidal; and his sisters, Cecilia, Thelma and Rosanna. His parents, Rosa and Jesus; and his sister, Magdalena, preceded him in death.
David graduated from Wells High School, served four years in the United States Army, then earned his Associate's Degree from DeVry Institute of Technology. He retired from People's Gas as a Senior Technician.
David was a devoted father and grandfather, and a loving and caring husband to his wife. His kindness, generosity and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
A visitation for David will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
