Denise was a true Angel in life, she was always there for me (us) I can still vividly remember the sing-alongs we would do. My favorite was "do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro..". Such a sweet, beautiful, patient lady. The annual Halloween costume contests were the best. Thank you Denise, you were loved and will me missed.

Denise, better known as Red!!! Wow she was a great women I am 47 now and I remember Red from when I was like 9 or 10 or maybe even younger. She ran the field house across from the projects (Lawndale Garden) with Tony I believe was his name. She LOVED ALL THE KIDS and was ALWAYS SO SWEET TO US. I’ll never forget her she was a women that has touched my life in a positive way. Growing up as a kid in the projects we never had board games at home and I looked forward to getting in there and playing all kinds of games from chutes and ladders, pick up monkeys, Mr. Potatoes head, checkers, etc. The kids would share, once in a while when a game was already being used we’d have to wait LOL sometimes that felt like forever... Red and Tony made that all possible thank you and May you Rest In Peace Red! Prayers for you and your family🙏 Our deepest sympathy, The Rosado Family 🙏

Miss Denise as my 3 daughters called her was a amazing person. She treated them as individuals not Nikki or Jessi or Lynne sister. She especially was patient with My Lynne who has her own view of the world. She touched so many lives. The world has lost a kind soul.

Wow Ms. Denise was my teacher she was so beautiful and loving her smile would brighten all of us kids up. I was always so excited to go to school the next day, even as we got older we would still run to go visit her in kindergarten/preschool. Well I know she has left a big impact in all our lives and our children’s lives but she is in Heaven with her beautiful smile we just inherited an Angel to watch over us. She is not suffering anymore we lift her family up and ask God to fill them with peace knowing that she’s in a better place. We will always love you Ms. Denise

She was, and will forever be, one of my favorite teachers. I am a teacher now and I can’t help but believe that her kindness, compassion and love played a pivotal role in shaping who I am as a person and the teacher I have become. Though it has been over 25 years since I last saw her at St. Michael’s the memories I have of my time with her still make me smiles and I will carry them with me, always. Her beauty lives on.

Denise was one of those people in my life that very instrumental in keeping us on track with our education, whenever we were at Washtenaw Park District at the field house. I remember her playing games with us as children and her and Tony Razzl keeping us busy with activities like board games & ice skating in the winter and softball in the summer.
May the Most High God bless her and her family. She will be missed.
