Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Matthew Karkoska. She will be remembered by her daughter Dawn (Karey Jones) Karkoska, her sisters; Doris (the late Bob) Hedl and Carol (Ken) Drenth, and her many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402, on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A short prayer service will start at 11:00 am. A burial will take place following at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
