Frank was my very first music mentor... for over twenty five years I had the honor and privilege of singing with him at OLM. He helped me find my voice and to embrace my love of music. He will be truly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Very sorry to here of Frank's passing.  Frank was  the organist at Our Lady of the Mount Church in Cicero for many years.  We both directed the OLM children's choir for many years.  My husband Mike ,myself and our five children, Sara, Raymond, Megan, Michael and Sam are all saddened by this.  Our heart felt sympathy to his sister Diane and the rest of his family.  He will always be remembered by all of us.

Having only ever spoken to Frank via the internet I always found him a joy to speak with, a kind man, he will be greatly missed. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

We were very sad to hear of Frank's passing. Now we will never have that reunion in Chicago, with Frank taking us to his favorite Italian restaurant. He was a great person and a wonderful musician. Frank will live on in our hearts.

I was terribly saddened on hearing the news of Frank's passing.  We met in our early 20's when John Kelly (Lenny Dee's #1 Fan) introduced us...the Matterhorn perhaps.  We hit it off great, and I followed his website many years.
My deepest condolences to his family.

I knew Frank since his days at Morton West H.S. where he played the organ at school assemblies and ran movie projectors as a volunteer. More importantly, he was a lifelong best friend of my late cousin Gary Smicklas. Frank assisted me processing the Smicklas household, even though he was deeply in grief from Gary's death. Frank was a kind man, dedicated to his music and to others, especially fellow organists.

I shall remember Frank fondly and with gratitude. I trust that he is now playing the best of the mighty Wurlitzer's inside the Pearly Gates.

I only got to know Frank via e-mail when he was so generous in his help with my You-Tube videos for his, and my, hero...Lenny Dee.  To hear the news of his sudden passing came as a shock, but to his family and friends I extend my deepest sympathy.

Rest Eternal, Frank, and let Light perpetual shine upon you.  Now you're with Lenny Dee and all your heroes of the organ.....in the nearer Presence of GOD.   Pax Vobiscum!

I am more familiar with Frank's abilities as a church organist. I was honored to work with Frank for 12 years at Our Lady of the Mount. It was such a relief to be able to give him a piece of music and know that he was able to play in English or Spanish or Italian. Since he wouldn't sing it didn't make any difference. He will be missed greatly.

Sorry to hear that my friend Frank has passed. I will remember him through the organ music recordings he sent.

Frank was a kind gentleman and talented organist. I always enjoyed talking with him and listening to his music. We had a lot of fun working on the Ken Griffin Society shows. In addition to his own unique musical style, he was one of the very few organists that could accurately replicate the styles of Ken Griffin and Lenny Dee. He will certainly be missed.
