Gloria Mendoza Villagrana, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024. Her family cherished her deeply and is blessed to have shared so many wonderful memories and moments with her throughout her life.

Born on August 27, 1943 in Tampico, Mexico, Gloria was a source of warmth, resilience, and unconditional love. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children, grandchildren and family, always ensuring that they were supported, loved, and guided with her wisdom and gentle strength.

Gloria was known for her unwavering kindness, vibrant humor, and boundless generosity. Her faith guided her through life. Her love for teaching spanned over two decades, during which she enriched the lives of countless students. She especially cherished sharing the art of Mexican folkloric dance, which she taught with pride and continued to perform well into her later years, bringing joy and cultural heritage to her community. Her passion for dance and education was a beacon of inspiration, showing her family and students the beauty of both discipline and creativity.

Beyond the classroom, her love of gardening brought life and color to her home and those of her children, as she generously shared plants and flowers, spreading beauty wherever she went. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and love for the arts and education lives on in her children and grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit in their own lives.

She is survived by her children Hector, Gloria, Alex, and Claudia, grandchildren Juan, Ana, Evy, Ethan, Emelie, Gustavo, Santiago, Sofia, and Alexander, and her extended family and friends, all of whom will miss her deeply but are grateful for the love and memories they shared.

At her request, services will be held privately.

Her spirit, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Keep dancing!
