Golda Slaten (née Lute), 93 of Cicero, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2020. Golda is the Beloved wife of the late John Slaten. Beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Bessie Lute. Beloved sister of Ronnie (Barb) Lute, the late Thelda Wilson, Barb, Arvil, and Marvin Lute. Loving Aunt of Tammy (Ray) Krych, Glennwood (Karen) Ward, Phillip, Daniel, Tony Ward, Tiffany (Joey) DiMercurio, Tina and the late Crystal Cagle, Jim Krych and the late Margaret Piekos, Cynthia Piekos, Damian Cagle , Jorge, Athena, and Marcos Flores, Angel Knox, David House. Loving cousin to Mike and John (Skip) Slaten, and many others, Golda was also a loyal friend to Bonnie Potts and many others. Golda was a very beautiful, strong woman with a heart of gold who was like the neighborhood mom that would give you the shirt off her back. she was a loving, kind, strong willed, hard working, stubborn woman. Golda sometimes wanted it her way or no way. One of her all time favorite sayings was “Blow it out your ass”. Golda was greatly loved and will be missed so much by all.
