John Dante Marsala, 92; beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Stankovich) for 69 years, father of Judith (John Frank) Marconi, and Patricia (John) Trotsky; proud grandfather of Jamie Marconi, Jennifer (Mike) Cahill, Michael (Lizette) Trotsky and Katie (Jason) Kierna; fond great-grandfather of Yulissa, Francesca, Samuel, Parker and Penelope. Dearest brother to Aurora (the late Adolph) Zlabis, brother-in-law to LaVern (the late Roger) Gardner, the late Dolores Hess, the late Ron (and the late Beverly) Stankovich. Fond uncle, cousin and lifelong friend to many. He was a wonderful role model for old and young alike and a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He carried the following quote in his wallet, which is how he truly lived his life: “I shall pass through this world but once, any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” – Etienne de Grellet
