John Radocha Jr., age 97, of Stickney, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. John. was born January 4, 1923 to John and Mary Radocha in Chicago, Illinois. John Proudly served for the United States Army during World War II. He was a very loving and attentive husband, father and all around family man. There wasn't a bigger Black Hawks fan in the family than him, he followed all their games from the start and loved watching them with his grandkids. His favorite past time was fishing. John was a long time resident of Stickney, Illinois. John is the beloved husband of Millie Radocha, Loving father of Linda Gilley, Karen “Tosh” Nikodem, Donna (Noel) Florek. He is the cherished grandfather of Justin Gilley, Lauren (Scott) Van Lanen, Sean Gilley, Staz Nikodem. Dear brother of James (Katherine) Radocha, the late Edward Radocha, Millie (Joe) Iorio, Dorothy (James) Kman. The Fond Uncle of the late James Radocha, David Radocha, Laura (Pete) Hirt, Ed (Michele) Radocha, the late Madelyne Iorio, Jo Iorio Petrosky, Doreen Martin, the late Jim Strunc, Chrisitine (Dennis) Krubl, Mike (Gina) Strunc, and the late Brian Strunc. Services for John Radocha Jr. were held on October 1st, 2020 at Mount Auburn Funeral Home located at 4101 S. Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. Linda, Karen & Donna,
So sorry to hear about the passing of your dad.
Living a house away for so many years we have lots of memories with all of you.
One memory is that your dad would get mad at the boys when they would go thru the snow and get it on his sidewalk that he just shoveled. There are so many more I could list.
