Jose Cervantes, age 92, of Cicero, Illinois passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. Jose was born on March 19, 1933 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to his parents Bonifacio Cervantes and Maria Galvan. Loving husband of the late Joyce. Beloved father of Monica (Juan) Pacheco and the late Esperanza Cervantes. Cherished grandfather of Esperanza Diana (Garrett) Hoffman and Gavin Pacheco. Dear brother of Amparo Hernandez, Maria Isidra Cervantes, Rosario Lopez and the late Gregorio Cervantes, Nicolas Cervantes, Francisco Cervantes, Fortonato Cervantes and Carmela Salazar.
A visitation for Jose will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
