Dear Mrs. Roman,
It was such a pleasure to know you during my life. When you moved to the area and Diane and I became friends, your house was the 'go to place' for many of our friends. We probably drove you crazy at times but you never complained. You were always very kind.

Your cooking was top notch and your dumplings the best! And you passed on these skills to Diane and Irene. Lucky girls!

There are so many wonderful memories of you but far too many to mention here.

You loved your family dearly and unconditionally, and they loved you the same, they still do, and miss you very much.

Our Deepest Sympathy to Diane and Bill, Irene, Christina and Jim and Ella, and Alan and Kelly.

You have a Home in Heaven now.

Rest In Peace, Kathryn.

Love,
Evelyn

My condolences to Diane and Irene on the loss of your beautiful Mother and to Alan and Christina on the loss of your loving Grandmother -- to Bill, Kelly, Jim and of course Ella.
When my family moved in next to yours on 18th Place 60 years ago your Mom and Dad were so welcoming and friendly. It's no surprise we have remained life-long friends with all of you. Your Mother's warmth and fierce love for her family is inspirational. I know God has her in his embrace.

Mrs. Roman always had a smile for me. She endured my intrusions to play with Irene when we were oh so small and young. She was loving and tolerant of my curiosity when I asked about the ' different ' food she cooked. She gladly fed this lil Mexican and smiled as I thoroughly enjoyed her meals. I am proud to have grown up with the Romans as our neighbors!

Dear Grandma. You will be missed. You lived such an extraordinary life. You survived the horrors of WWII. When you emigrated to the US, you worked extremely hard to provide a better life for your family. You lived a very modest life so that we can enjoy a better life. You always made sure we were well fed every-time we visited. You always wanted to show us your beautiful vegetable and flower garden. You always had the best tomatoes and cucumbers. You always had the best roses. We will forever be grateful for everything you did for us. Love you and miss you. Rest easy Grandma.
