Whether living across the street or across the miles, Lu and I sustained a friendship of almost 60 years. Wonderful memories. I will surely miss her but I find comfort in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus. Sincere sympathy to her beloved family.

As a boy, mom was as patient with me as if I were her own. Her bells. I remember her bells. Her joyful laugh.
Her smile was so contagious.

I have many fun memories of spending weekends with my cousin Lisa in their Summit IL home. It is during those weekends that Aunt Lu would take us to church, to the park and to be honest, treat me as a second daughter. She was caring, giving and loving. My most recent memories are of Lisa and I going to lunch with our mom's. I consider myself blessed to have had you as an Aunt. You will be missed here on Earth, but you are pain free and with your family now. Love you Aunt Lu!

Lu, my sweet loving friend since childhood. I hold so many memories from grade school, high school, stood up to each other’s weddings and remained close while raising our children. I will miss you for the rest of my life. You were taken from us much too soon.
