Mary is preceded in death by her husband James C. Lukas, her daughter Suzanne Smothers, and her son William Lukas.
She is survived and remembered by her children, Kathy Walden, Dora Fritz, Marge (James) Hawkins, James Lukas Jr., and Valerie Wacker. She was a loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mary will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Barbara Church, 4000 Prairie Ave, Brookfield, IL 60513. A visitation will occur Monday, June 21, 2021 starting at 10:30 AM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A graveside service will follow at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
