

Patrik Navratil, age 57, passed away on June 2, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1968 in Valtice, Czech Republic and lived half his life in the town of Breclav. There he served some time in the Czech military and worked for Otis elevators.
Patrik will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew him. Throughout his life, he carried himself with steady resilience and a strong work ethic—someone who met responsibilities with determination and showed up for the people who counted on him. He was cherished for the care he gave, the loyalty he kept, and the quiet strength that marked his days. His Catholic faith remained an important part of who he was, offering constancy and grounding through life’s seasons.
Patrik’s sense of adventure found its way into the things he enjoyed most. He took pleasure in fishing and riding his motorcycle, and he also made time for video games. His interest in history reflected a thoughtful curiosity and an appreciation for the stories that shape people and places. He loved cooking, he enjoyed listening to his music, and sharing his heritage. He was very proud of his Czech heritage. He was an intellectual individual who loved learning and was extremely good at math.
Patrik worked as a general contractor. He was very skilled and he could fix or build just about anything. He mastered the skills of welding, masonry, carpentry, concrete, plumbing and automotive repair.
On September 7, 2001, Patrik married Irena Mickus. He is survived by his daughter Natalie Navratil and Nikola Vanickova (Radek Vanicek); his grandchildren Tereza Vanickova and Vojtech Vanicek; his brother Marian Prudek; and his mother Marie Prudkova.
