Richard W. Trofimchuk, age 66, of Stickney, Illinois passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. Richard was born March 9, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents Marcella (nee Janovsky) and Daniel Trofimchuk. On November 19, 1983 he married Ann Janich.

Survived by his Loving Wife Ann Trofimchuk of 36 years. Cherished son of Daniel (the late Marcella) Trofimchuk. Beloved brother of the late Daniel Jr. Trofimchuk. Cherished Uncle of Daniel III (Karen) Trofimchuk, Steve Trofimchuk and Robert (Alexis) Trofimchuk and Great Uncle of Jacob Trofimchuk and Anders Trofimchuk . Fond Brother-In-Law of Cathy Szot.

Richard enjoyed gardening, astronomy, fishing, gambling and watching his favorite game show.

expressions amd memories may be added by visiting www.MountAuburnFuneralHome for the trofimchuk family. rick was also known for his wood working. he made me a rolled top desk for a wedding present. he also was a one project man, wine racks and clocks were his passion. it took time for him to warm up to people but once he did you had a friend for life. he did no always show it but he was a big softy and if need stood up for the under dog.some people said he looked like charles bronson and at times it mad him upset. he always said his name was rick not charlie. i will miss him so much. i know he is here with me in spirit but i would really want him here in the flesh. i love you boo.
