Robert F. Mladic

Robert Mladic, United States Army Veteran, age 79, passed away on Monday, May 29th, 2023. He was born on May 16, 1944 to his parents Mary and Leo Mladic. Loving husband to the late Nancy. Beloved father of Cathy (Gary) Boryca and Carla (Rich) Kautz. World Greatest Papa to Joshua "Joshie", Tyler "Bobo", Tiana "Papa's Princess", Kevin "Kev", Ally "Angel", Dylan "Dyl", Madison "Papa's Belly" and Justin "Bubba".

Whatever the names he called, everyone of them were the most important thing to him. This indeed was Papa's Team. His enjoyment was watching his team in sports, dance and most important academic achievements. Papa was their biggest, strongest and loudest cheerleader. Instilling honor, dedication, strength and sharing knowledge. Some of Bobs highlights other than his grandchildren, were watching Carla skate her way through her childhood and Cathy taking him to the 2005 White Sox World Series. He loved his close friends, whether it was chatting on the phone or playing cards. He was often found razzing a Cubs fan with one of his awful dad jokes, for Bob was a die hard White Sox Fan and would let everyone know.

He was very proud of his sons-in-law for providing well for all his loved ones.

Friends and famiy will gather for a visitation on Monday, June 5th, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of chapel prayers at 12:00 PM, at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, Illinois 60402. Graveside service with Military Honors at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, Illinois 60458.
