Ronald Jerry Prochaska Sr.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife Sandra. They married April 28, 1962 and celebrated 61 years together. Ronald is also survived by his adoring children; Ronald Jr., Sheryl (David) Bell, and Susan (Felix) Aguilar, his 9 treasured grandchildren, and several cherished great-grandchildren.

Ronald enjoyed fishing in the Michigan forest and made it a daily habit to feed the deer with his wife in the woods nearby. They would also make frequent trips to the library and borrow many books to read. Above all Ronald loved his family. He adored his grandchildren and quality time with them. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

Ronald also bravely served in the United States Navy and his service will be remembered with military honors at his graveside.

A visitation for Ronald will occur Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM with a graveside service at Mount Auburn Cemetery to follow.
