Sylvia Vela Huertas

Sylvia is survived by her beloved children; Adolfo (Elena) Huertas, Jr and Doris (George) Romero, her cherished grandchildren; Noah (Sandra), Stephanie (Steve), Jeremiah (Daniella), Gulia, Krystina and Christian, her step grandchildren; Vanessa (M.J.) and Jonathan, her adoring great-grandchildren; Alex (Paloma), Daniel, Maurizio, Alex, Grayson, and Preston, her step great-grandchildren; Ariana, Angelica, Alexis, Mariah, Jacob and Easton, and one beautiful great-great-granddaughter Alexiana. Sylvia will also be deeply missed by many other friends and family. Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband Adolfo and son Raymond.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Sylvia that will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will occur on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2745 West 44th Street, Chicago, IL 60632. A graveside service will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402.
