To Ruiz Family, 

Lament the loss of my dear Tia Sylvia whom I love immensely and her loving memory etched in my heart and forever cherished.  

How I remember the summers with excitement when we got a visit from Tio Juan and Tia Sylvia all the way from Chicago, what a treat!  Many great memories  and one particular special memory that stands out with fondness when I heard,  in her voice filled with endearment and joyful laughter harmony into the  air... 
"Where are my girls?"
"How are my girls!"  

Oh, how I wish I were there in person to offer a hug and encouragement.  Please know you are in thoughts and prayers.

My favorite Tia…she always remember her girls in Austin, Texas. The best summer  experience growing up was when my Tia and Tio Juan took me to Chicago by self for the first time for the summer.  Tia  Sylvia almost convinced my Mom for me to stay.  Love you always Tia 💕😍

My dearest Grandma, it’s so hard for me to generalize all the beautiful memories I have. I’m going to miss your beautiful bright smile and your contagious laugh. I’m forever going to miss celebrating our birthdays together and holding your hand while you rest your head on my shoulder. I love you so much and my heart aches without you here. 

To the woman that we love & Miss. Grandma was a wonderful person and very Stern at times, Those are the things that helped us build character and helped us be the adults we are today. We will love and miss you forever. Go have a nice dinner with Grandpa and go out dancing and then go play some Bingo.

I have so many memories that can't fit on this page. I still remember when Michael and I got married 45 yrs ago and you've been my mother ever since. You always hanging out with my Mom and everyone thinking you were sisters. Taking care of you wasn't a burden it was an honor and you deserved it especially for the way you loved & took care of my kids, your only grandchildren. They loved you so much. You were a very strong woman and didn't take mess from anyone but you balanced that attitude with a heart of gold. You helped so many people who took advantage of your generosity. God knows all your good work. I will see you in the resurrection that Jesus promised us. Till then I live with my memories of you and know that I did everything I could for you 💜
