Adell was born to James J, Parker and Ida Cantrell Parker on March 8, 1926 in Margaret, Georgia. She took pride in taking care of her family. Adell was a devoted mother, wonderful grandmother and a loving sister. She was thrilled to lived to see five generations. It is an understatement to say she was an awesome cook. Everyone especially loved her biscuits.
She worked for Arrow Shirts for 34 years. Adell was a faithful member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nine siblings and two daughters, Margaret and Valinda.
Adell loved the Lord and her life will forever be honored and cherished by her brother, Elmer Gene Parker (Sandra) of Dallas, Georgia; daughter, Angeline Thomason-Harris (Rick) of Stockbridge, Georgia; sons-in-law, Donald Morgan of Villa Rica, Georgia and Mike Cook of Locust Grove, Georgia; grandchildren, James Morgan (Vickey) of Dallas, Georgia, Tommy Morgan of Villa Rica, Georgia, Ronald Morgan (Diane) of Villa Rica, Georgia, Mark Thomason (Vickie) of Hampton Georgia, Lloyd Thomason (Kandi) of Stockbridge, Georgia, Michael Cook (Tracy) of Jackson, Georgia and Tina Webb (Vance) of Locust Grove, Georgia; eleven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and family friends.
A Walk-Thru Viewing for Adell will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
The Celebration of Life for Adell Parker Floyd will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00AM at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, 1974 Walt Stephens Road, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236 with burial immediately following in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
