Alvin Jay Hagan

Alvin Jay Hagan, age 78, of Stockbridge, GA passed away on June 25, 2019. He was born to the late Clinton and Bessie Hagan in Bryceville, FL on April 3, 1941. Alvin accepted Christ at Vacation Bible School when he was just 12 years’ old. He continued to serve Christ until his death. His favorite past time was watching the Atlanta Braves and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son; Kevin Randolph Hagan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 54 years; Sue Hagan, his children; Kellee (Vic) Williams, David (Amy) Hagan and Christopher Marcus Hagan, his five grandchildren, his adopted son; Richard (Laurie) Martin and a host of many other relatives and friends

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Friday, June 28, 2019 from Noon to 1 PM at Glen Haven Baptist Church located at 345 E. Lake Rd in McDonough, GA. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation there at the church. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.
