Ann was my cousin but more like a big sister. She and Jane took care of us when we were little. One of my earliest memories where of her and Jane keeping us when mother and daddy went out. They would rock us on Aunt Bert's porch singing "Daddy gone hunting". Losing her makes the memories flood back . She would say, "Now Pat" when mother wouldn't let me go somewhere or wear certain clothes. Mother would always given in to Ann. She took me under her wing when Vance was in the service. Making sure I knew how to get things accomplished. Life is precious but Ann had been all over the world with Mick. It was time for her to join him in heaven. Tina and Chap my love and prayers are with you in the coming days.

So many wonderful memories of when we lived across the hall from each other at the "Fuchinobe Hilton" in Japan between 1966 and 1968. Drinking coffee and talking for hours every morning, the nights the two couples played cards (often beating Ski and Mickey even though we talked more than paid attention to our cards), receiving Red Cross Life Saving Awards for what we did for little Paul Gathagan, going to the hospital to write letters and play cards with those wounded in Vietnam and I could go on and on. So thankful for having you there during that time of my life. Love that our families have stayed connected thru the years and praying for all the family.

We just learned tonight that the Sylacauga High School Class of 1952 had lost another precious popular majorette and beautiful friend.
Anytime Ann was around, we knew there would be fun and excitement. Her sister, Jane Hunter, always added to the merriment. I have so many fond memories of Ann in the band and of her high school sweetheart and husband, Mickey, on the football field. May God bless and comfort their family.
