

Aurora, or as she was more well known as Lola, was born on March 17, 1926 in Tlaltizapan, Morelos to Rita Garcia and Job Jaimes. She met and married Juan Flores, Sr. and together they lived happily ever after until his passing.
Lola, as she was affectionately known by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a very strong woman, a fighter who never gave up. She was honest and shared many moments and special occasions with the entire family. She loved gardening, taking care of her indoor plants and listening to her cockatoos sing. Lola loved music and you would always catch her singing when she was around the house and she enjoyed cooking feasts for the whole family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita Garcia and Job Jaimes; husband, Juan Flores, Sr.
Lola’s life will forever be remembered and cherished by her children: Rosa Flores, Caritina Flores, Natalia Flores, Sergia Flores, Saul Flores, Juan Flores, Cruz Banda; many many grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren, as well as ,other relatives and family friends.
Visitation for Aurora will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Fairview Suite at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel - 376 Fairview Rd. Stockbridge, GA 30281. A Celebration of Life for Aurora Flores will occur on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church - 591 Flint River Rd. Jonesboro, GA 30238. Interment will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens -164 Fairview Rd. Stockbridge, GA 30281.
