Betty Jane Baggett

July 4, 1929 in Atlanta, GA. She is the daughter of the late Homer Baggett and Marie Hardin Baggett.

Her years of employment included 40+ years at Georgia Power and 15 years at Atlanta Pharmaceutical Company. Her

retirement years were spent enjoying family time with her late sister, Carol, nieces/nephews, & great nieces/nephews.

Betty was part of a group who started a ministry in Clayton, GA and assisted many families in need. She was an active

member at Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Dayspring, and the Adult Bible Class. Over the last several years, Betty

worshipped at Peachcrest Christian Church.

Betty is survived by: Cindy (niece) & Joey Westbrook, Jason, Sarah, Jackson, John, Kristin, James, & Jacob; Tracy (niece)

& Tim Copeland, Kaila, Cody, Ella; Chuck (nephew) & Laurie Baggett, Zachary, Kristin, Luke, & John; Lynda Baggett

(sister-in-law); and many cousins. Along with her parents and younger sister Marie, Betty was preceded in death by her

sister Carol Baggett, her brother Wendell Baggett, and her niece Patty Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel in Stockbridge, GA from 11:30 AM –

1:00 PM, with a graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peachcrest Christian Church

(4100 Rosebud Rd. Loganville, GA 30052).
