Betty W. Brand, 73, of Good Hope, passed away on February 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Clark Brand; and her daughter, Cindy Brand Beam. She was a member of Flat Shoals Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brand is survived by her husband, Ernest B. Brand; daughter, Susan Brand Roberts and her husband Jesse; daughter in-law, Mary Brand; grandchildren, Jessica L. Altman and husband Jonathan, Ashley J. Thompson and husband Phillip, Hannah R. Pruitt and husband Sonny, Adam T. Beam and wife Kayce, Brandon E. Beam, H. Daniel Mincey and wife Jenny, Kayla Brand Sarver and husband Ben; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred W. Slaton and husband Tom; brother in-law, Tony Ayers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home; Tuesday, February 25 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 26 at 2pm at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Elder Mark Westbrook and Elder Jesse M. Roberts, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
