Betty Golden, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on March 24, 1948, in Atlanta, Georgia, Betty lived a life filled with love, kindness, and a deep commitment to those around her.
Betty found joy in the simple but meaningful moments of life—sharing laughter with family and friends, traveling to new and familiar places, and attending concerts with her loved ones. She had a giving spirit and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Leonard “Butch” Golden; her parents, John and Willie Bentley Rollins; her brother Johnny Rollins; and her sister Dorothy Harvey.
Betty’s memory will be cherished by her sister Barbara Ann Hartness, her brother Jimmy Rollins and his wife Carol, and a host of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and vibrant presence.
