Betty Juanita Duncan Harper "Nita" & Danita Leigh Phillips

Juanita, affectionately known as Nita, was born on January 8, 1939. Ms. Harper retired from the Henry County Board of Education, where she worked over 20 years as a food/nutrition manager. Survivors include her husband, Charles Harper of Stockbridge; sister, Louise Gentry of Woodstock; daughter, Angela Harper of Atlanta; stepchildren, Charles Harper, Jr. of Fayetteville and Eric Harper of Griffin; grandchildren, Larry, Michelle, Tiffany, Michaela, Ellie, Grady and Gracie. Ms. Harper was preceded in death by sons, Terry Flynn, Charles (Darren) Harper, Ronnie Harper and daughter, Danita Phillips.

Danita was born on October 4, 1962. Survivors include her sister, Angela Harper of Atlanta; children, Larry Phillips of Flovilla, Michelle Phillips of Franklin and Tiffany Phillips of Flovilla; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Caitlin, Briana, Khloe and Dantae. Ms. Phillips was preceded in death by her father, Allen A. Harper, Jr. and brothers Terry Flynn, Charles (Darren) Harper and Ronnie Harper.

The Celebration of Life for Nita and Danita will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:00PM (with limited seating) at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia with family receiving friends from 11:00AM-2:00PM.
