After receiving her Associates Degree in Business, Beverley moved to New York at the age of 22 to follow her dream of fashion design. She ultimately retired from the Maryland Department of Driver’s Services.
Her special joys in life were her family, traveling and gardening. Beverley loved spending time in the sun caring for her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Freddie Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ollie L. McCoy of Stockbridge, GA. Her children, Claudine Mathews of Norcross, GA; Defriece (Gerald) Williams of Rineyville, KY; and Brenton (LaKhassia) McCoy of Hampton, VA. Her Grandchildren, Brandon Harrison, Lexus Mathews, Brenton McCoy Jr. & Skylar McCoy. One great grandson, RJ Williams. A brother, Ronald Jones (London, ENG). Special friends; Darryl & Peggy Shank, Percy & Essie Allen. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family & friends.
