Bobby Gene Clark Sr.

Bobby was born on June 21, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia to Barney Franklin Clark and Luna Mae Stanfield Clark. He graduated from Fulton High School, Class of 1948. He entered into the United States Navy in 1949 and served on the USS George M. Randall AP-115. He was Honorably Discharged in 1956. Bobby also worked for General Motors from 1951 until he retired on November 1, 1990 with over 39 years of service.

Bobby met the love of his life, Nancy Bell. They were united in Holy Matrimony and remained that way until her passing in 1981. He loved his family, friends and spending time playing the guitar. Bobby especially enjoyed the building and repair of guitars.

Bobby was also a member of the Lakewood Lodge #443.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Nancy Bell Clark.

His life will forever be remembered and cherished by his sons, Bobby Gene Clark, Jr. and Michael A. Clark; grandchildren, Eric Clark, Matt Clark and Brooke Jenkins; nieces, Gaye Prosser, Cindy Clark and Phyllis Langdon; nephews, Chris Clark, and Leonard Cauthen; other relatives and family friends.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, where funeral services for Bobby G. Clark, Sr. will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, March 6, 2020. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
