Brace C. Pinney, Jr.

A long time resident of Stockbridge, Ga, he is survived by his daughter Donna Lawrence and son Mark Pinney; grandchildren, Ryan Pinney, William Pinney, Jennifer Owens, Christopher Askew, Tiffany Tweed, Jon Michael Carpenter, Shannon Mayfield, Brace Andrew Pinney, Erin Pinney, Christin Parker, Cherie Parker; and more than 20 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years Pauline Elisabeth Pinney, his son Wanye Pinney, and daughters Pamela Askew, Debra Harrington, and Judy Pinney.

He was born April 28th 1931 in Barnstable, Mass. to parents Brace Carlos Pinney and Rena Blount. He attended Lynn Technical High School and served in The United States Air Force. He was retired from Delta Airlines where he worked as an Aircraft technician for 33 years. He had a great love for aviation and was a talented woodworker and Metal Fabricator.

He will be remembered as "Grampa" who loved his family.

A visitation of family and friends will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow in the chapel of Ward's Funeral Home at 1:00PM. Services will conclude with a graveside committal and military honors at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. Pastor Ken Davidson, officiating.
