You were my light when I couldn't see. I love you for every moment you've  given me and your grand babies..

It's been a year today since I lost you; yet it still feels the same. The moment I was told you stop breathing was the moment everything changed. But I am grateful I was able to get you to briefly come back to me. So that I could tell you one more time how much I love you and what you meant to me. I remember holding your hands while you were looking at me with tears in your eyes. You were telling me you love me  by squeezing my hand for the last time. Even though God decided to take you away that night, you're still here with me. We hold you close to our hearts and in our memory's. Like our necklaces says: You unlock your heart and gave us the key Joshua, Kaden, Adrianna. We locked the key forever in our hearts.

The moment that you left me, my
heart was split in two.

I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep,
and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my check.

Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday, but missing you is a heartache that never goes away.

You were always good to me. You helped me along the way when it came to Adrianna. You stood by my side. You brought so much joy in my life. I made a promise to you eight years ago and I am keeping my promise. I love you so much Gail and I will never stop loving you. The Lord has you in his arms and you don't have to suffer anymore.

My special aunt, with all she was going through, always thought of others.
My special aunt always took time to give of herself to friends, sisters and brothers.
My special aunt was always there with her kind thoughts, deeds, and caring.
My special aunt is well known and loved for her capacity for sharing.
My special aunt needs to know how much she means to those who love her, especially me.
My special aunt's strength, courage, and beauty are a shining example for all to see.
My special aunt has carried a heavy burden for quite a long while.
My special aunt would not allow us to share any of her pain but always her smile.
My special aunt is surely a guardian angel sent from above.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to the family and friends. Ms. Brenda Ann Strickland was a very special person to all who was around her. I pray for God to put His arms of Comfort around the family in this time of pain and hurt.
