Carolyn Addie Stephens

Carolyn Stephens, 78, of Wewahitchka, Florida. Born February 29, 1948 in Sparta, Georgia, to the late Mary and Jim Gilliam, Carolyn lived a life filled with love, strength, and kindness and sadly passed away on July 27th 2026.

Carolyn had a vibrant spirit and was happiest enjoying the simple things in life. If you knew Carolyn, you knew her love for all things camo and the great state of Florida that she called home. It was rare to see her without something camouflage on, and even rarer to see her without one of her favorite hats. Those who knew and loved her will always remember her signature style and the smile that accompanied it.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jimmy and Larry Gilliam; and her sisters, Mary (Kat) Barnwell, Betty Wilson, and Jean Patricia.

Carolyn is survived by her life partner Thomas Kowcun, her three sons: Vincent Bradford (Amanda), Joey Bradford (Brenda), and Patrick Bradford (Victoria). She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren: Dustin, Daniel, Madison (Garrett), Justin (Jenny), Chelsea (Chris), Elliette, Elijah, Carter, Kyle (Kristen), Samantha (Avery), Stephanie, and William. She was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Carolyn will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, on July 31, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on August 1, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, on August 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, US, on August 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:15 pm.
