Carrie Elizabeth Parton Tinney, age 87, of Stockbridge, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge at 4:00pm. The family will receive friends at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel one hour prior to the service from 3 to 4 pm. Mrs. Tinney retired from JC Penny’s. Her husband John F. Tinney preceded her in death. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by children Jack Tinney, Nelda Boyd, Dorothy Morgan, and Joe Tinney; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
