Christine Wilson-Parker

On July 18, 1931, Christine Wilson was born to her parents Artie and Richard Wilson. She grew up with one older sister, Hazel, and a younger sister, Cherylene. They grew up in Marble, North Carolina with their extended family. She fondly recalled large family gatherings at her grandmother’s home in Marble. Years later, Christine met Lowell Parker at a square dance. They fell in love, got married, and had two beautiful daughters, Rhonda and Debbie.

Christine was a fantastic seamstress and loved making dresses for her girls to wear while they were growing up. Christine and Lowell were active members of their church communities throughout their lives. They have been members of Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church where she loved attending Life Group and Bible Study.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Parker, her daughter, Rhonda Jordan, her sisters, Hazel and Cherylene, and her grandson, Dwayne Jordan.

She is survived by Debbie Wall, her daughter, Christina, Aleesha, Crystal, and Lesley, her granddaughters, Michael, Jonathan, Justin, Anthony, Wesley, Jesse, and Ella, her great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.

A visitation of family and friends for Christine will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A graveside committal service will occur Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
