Christopher J. Bruce Jr.

In 1984, Chris graduated from Albany High School. Chris entered the military where he served his country. After leaving the Army, Chris continue to serve others as a License Practical Nurse (LPN)

In 2010, he met his adoring wife; Wondra Johnson. In 2015, they were united in holy matrimony.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving & devoted wife, Mrs. Wondra Johnson-Bruce; three bonus children, Freddie Smith (Shayla), Jerome Coons and Josiah Wooley; seven bonus grandchildren, Amir Bostick, Zyaire Patrick, Gabriel Smith, Auset Smith, Ausar Smith, Corey Jerome Coons and Jaelyn Coons; mother, Beulah Joyce Jones; sisters and brothers, Felicia Love, James Tunstall, Sonja Walker (Bob), Wendy Cunningham (Reggie), Ladwan Millett (Tim), Anthony Jones (Delanie), Oinetta Kambui (Kamau) and Afeefah Burroughs (Johnny); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gone but not forgotten, Chris will be truly missed because of his free spirit, generosity, his love, passion for music, entertainment & sports. His life and memories will linger on throughout the lives of everyone whose path that crossed his. He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan. His loved ones describe him best as a sweet and loving spirit. He touched the lives of many.

Visitation for Chris will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 3:00PM - 6:00PM in The Tribute Suite at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 3:00PM in the Fairview Suite.
