Cynthia Childers McCord was born on June 22, 1963 in Highland Park Michigan to William and Marilyn Childers. She entered into her eternal home on September 10, 2023. At her time of death she lived in Jenkinsburg, Georgia. She is a beloved wife, and a loving mother and grandma. Her God given love for all people, and the Lord assisted her in serving her community through various ways of outreach to children and adults. She had a spunky, fun, and outgoing personality and could light up the room. The three most important things to her were her Christian walk with the Lord, family and helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years to Jay McCord Sr.; daughters Carrie (Kyle) Johnson, Tiffany (Jerry) Christine, Joy (Samuel) Dingler; son Jay (Shelby) McCord Jr.; Grandchildren Sara-Ruth Johnson, Judah Dingler and Micah Dingler; brothers William (Lisa) Childers III, Carl (Sherry) Childers; sister Lori (Mark) Lanford; nephew Griffin Childers; nieces Brooke (Adam) Simpson, and Sofia Childers.
