Born on September 1, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Mildred Johnson and Andrew Tate Jr . Following graduating from high school, Daniel enlisted into the United States Army where he served as a Medical Specialist and Track Vehicle Repairer from 1969 to 1989.
Daniel loved traveling, listening to Jazz Music, and occasionally visiting the casino. He will always be remembered as the backbone of his family . Always dependable and providing wise words when we needed them.
Proceeding him in death are his parents Mildred and Andrew, His Siblings, Gregory , Barberann, Rosetta, and Whitney.
He is survived by his children Daniel Tate Jr (AKA Pooch), Karena Tate (AKA FiFI), Cedric Tate (AKA Mr. Peabody), Cindy Tate, Angel Tate, and Andrew Tate. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren Angelica, Tenisha, Jazmin, Dana, Nevia, Jonathan, DJ, Nathan, Jordan, Edwin, Stephawn, Tyler, Keondre, Javon, and a host of cousins, nieces, and great grandchildren
