Darius Deandre Glover

Darius DeAndre Glover “Dre,” was born on November 19, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Kenneth Glover and Ms. Mary Glover at Grady Memorial Hospital. He departed this life and gained his wings on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the age of 39. Dre matriculated through the Atlanta Public School System and last attended Harper Archer High School. He completed a barber apprenticeship and with determination and consistency, he became known as a Master Barber. No stranger to hard work, Dre actively practiced the craft of barbering for 18 years and was exemplary in professionalism and skill level. His clients would say his expertise and techniques with the clippers were unmatched.

Always known as a family oriented individual, he enjoyed many activities including playing video games, watching football (Falcons rise up), watching movies and TV shows with his loved ones. Anyone who ever came in his path would say was one of the realest people you would ever want to meet and had a laughter that could light up the room.

Dre was a beloved son, brother, and father. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Virginia Jones, Evelyn Erwin, John Erwin and Ozell Jones.

Dre leaves to mourn his passing his only daughter, Zariyah Glover; special friend, Angela Mozee; mother, Mary Glover; father, Kenneth Glover; brothers, Gregory Wortham and Kendrick Glover; aunts, Jimmie Erwin and Shonda Jones; uncles, Lee Erwin, Robert Glover and Gregory Glover; cousins, Roderick Glover, Dante Glover, Sanchez Glover, Maria Williams (Ellis), Jacquesha Barnes (Benitez), Horace Holt, III (Angela), Nicole Erwin, De’angelo Erwin, Sukimie Toland and Marquita Thomas-Turner (Jarrett); great aunts, Barabara Allen, Helen Sherrer, Viola Bash and Emma Price; and a host of beloved relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Darius on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road | Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
