David was a dedicated employee of W.W. Williams, Atlanta branch, for 37 years where he made many lifelong friends that were more like family to him. Although he loved his work, he was looking forward to retirement, spending time with family, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Gross; mother, Eleanor Gross; and stepson, Joe Terrell, II.
David is survived by the love of his life, Sheila Walker Gross; son, Samuel Gross of Stockbridge, Georgia; stepdaughter, Jaime (Chris) Eaton of Eustis, Florida; siblings, Jeanne Burnett of Fairport, New York, Norman Gross (Rebecca) of Hopkins, South Carolina, and Steven Gross (Shelley) of Pendleton, South Carolina; grandchildren, Anthony and Alexa both of Eustis, Florida; nephews, Jamie Gross (Sarah) of Easley, South Carolina; and Jonathon Gross (Annslee) of Anderson, South Carolina; niece, Taralee Wood (Robert) of Higginsville, Missouri; and a host of loving extended family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
